Drew will try to force the ball to him sometimes, but he's just a beast. He needs to fix his dropsies.
Honestly the only thing I see wrong with the offense is the play calling in the fourth quarter. We seem to get really conservative and run the clock out. That would be fine if our run game was still clicking, but they're expecting it in the 4th.

The only drive where we got really conservative in the fourth quarter yesterday was the last one, starting from our own 2.

I guess I'll defend myself. While I didn't say "we were better off without him", I definitely think in the beginning of the season Drew was forcing the ball to him in obvious situations...falling back on last years success. I know a pick sealed the Carolina game as a result of that.
ETA: you can't deny Graham has been maddingly inconsistent this year. Luckily he made more plays than he missed in the ATL game
I was more happy that the offense got a chance to adjust without him to become less predictable. We're sort of seeing that with Sproles now actually.

I don't know bout' that. I remember running on the first two downs right up the middle and getting 2 yards each time. I plan on watching the game again anyway, so I'll make sure to see how the play calling was.

We definitely slacked off in the passing game/ deep routes/ up tempo gas pedal in the second half. It been our MO lately. And it drives me nuts. Unless we are up by 3 touchdowns there is no need to leave our normal offensive gameplan behind. Just let Drew do what he do.

I get that, but we can sustain drives with short passses, play actions, screens, letting Drew dictate the game. Especially coming out the tunnel at halftime. I get the 4th quarter running game to give our D a break, but in the 3rd keep the foot on the gas.

Seriously, I thought I heard the announcer say he is leading the NFL in drops! Is that true?
It is simply something that cannot be tolerated to have that many drops in the NFL! between him and Devery it hurts us.

Of course it hurts, but what are you gonna do, bench him?
And anyone saying we are better or whatever without Sproles or Graham is insane. Keep in mind this is the same offense that set tons of records last season. It is probably considered one of the best offenses in NFL history.

Of course he doesn't deserve to get benched. His big plays far outweigh the dumb mistakes.
That being said, Jimmy has had far more boneheaded plays this year than he did last year or even in his rookie season it seems. Easy drops, false starts.
Then again, even a HoFer that's having a career game can make have a boneheaded drop at the most critical time...
