Every day gets harder. I'm seriously getting home from work on Friday and drinking a frickload of Nyquil. Hopefully that can knock me out for at least 12 hours.

It sucks for me even worse because I'm working on a Superdome Enhancements project that bids on the 21st of this month, so I've been looking at Superdome blueprints with Saints logos, etc. for the past week.
And I'll be working on it all the rest of this week....

My stomach has been churning non stop. The days are going by incredibly slow and I have no idea how I'm going to make it till Saturday. I do like the Nyquil trick. Too bad you can't will yourself into a 4 day coma and wake up a couple of hours before kickoff.

What "enhancements" are they working on and will they be finished by Sept. ? I thought i heard something about widening the plaza concourse and adding lower plaza seating...where are they adding ?

Maybe I could try that shite that Chris Farley took in that SNL skit. The cold/flu medicine that works by putting you in a coma through the cold/flu season, just a smaller dose.

I'm not sure of the job duration yet, so I can't comment when construction will start/end.
They're moving the 'press box' section up to the nosebleed and making what was once the press box section into additional suites. Also, there will be a new level between the Event and Plaza levels, where the bottom section of seats will now be in a utmost fixed forward position (cannot move forward/backward anymore). They're making a Saints retail store in an existing space too.
They're also potentially updating/expanding the Saints locker room as well, but that's not part of the "Base" bid. We got to do a job walk last week where we toured the ins and outs of the Superdome as well as got to go inside of the Saints lockerroomm, etc.
That's the jist of the renovations. Total construction amount for ALL trades is listed between 65 and 70 million right now.

Thanks for the info Ziggy....some-one else in construction just e-mailed me about the project...said the new plaza/sideline seating will add 3100 seats and the plaza concourse will be widened by 50 ft. with more restrooms and 2 restaurants added ?

There will definitely be more restrooms. I know for a fact they're converting one or two back to back women's/men's bathrooms into all men's bathrooms.
I'm not certain about the restaurants at the moment. Either way, Benson is spending some money on this project.
