Anybody think CFL refugee LB Adam Bighill has a chance to make the roster?

This guy intrigues me. Undrafted out of college, he went to the CFL and was a 4-time All-CFL all star and was the CFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2015. He's small, 5'10-230, but he's in the Sam Mills/Zach Thomas range. I'm not comparing him to those guys, other than to say that he's probably big enough to play LB in the NFL.

New Orleans was the only professional tryout for Bighill, and that’s all it took. With onlookers Sean Payton, Mickey Loomis, and Terry Fontenot all in attendance for the big tryout in mid-December with over 15 players, Bighill was one that made a huge impression.
"He blew us away in the workout," Fontenot said. "He's explosive and fun to watch."
Bighill was rewarded on Jan. 4 with a three-year deal by the Saints after playing 99 games in his six-year stint with the Lions, totaling 489 defensive tackles, 69 special teams tackles, 33 sacks, 8 interceptions, 8 forced fumbles, and a touchdown.
“The opportunity with the Saints is everything I’ve worked for. My whole life has been to get this opportunity,” Bighill said.

He has a big hill to climb to make it.

Nope. We have like 20 linebackers better than him

Being serious if he makes the PS (I'm not sure if it works the same way for CFL signees) then i think he did a hell of a job.

Yes he is PS eligible. It's basically exactly like signing an UDFA (unless they've been in the NFL before, went to the CFL, and came back).
I do think he has an outside shot at the 53 if he is a special teams standout.

just think... a few years ago we were all praying for the honkey badger to make the roster. now we could potentially have 3 to 4 coaches on the field.

Of course he has a great chance to make the Saints. All people ask for is an opportunity and he just got that. This kid looks like he can be a tackling machine with the Saints going by the numbers he put up in the CFL. It will be fun to watch him compete during the summer and I will be pulling for him.

He does not lack effort that is for sure. I saw him run Wr's down from behind a few times on highlight tape. He has to run about a 4.5 in the 40yd dash.

4.59 at his pro day. Still pretty good for a guy his size.
