Any Thomas Morstead Updates?

Does anyone have any inside scoop on Morstead? Saints Talk seems to be more reliable than the NOLA media.

I hope he's okay. Haven't seen any updates yet. Not a bad punt by Hocker tho.

Love Morstead but it's time to cut bait. Field position is severely overrated and it's not like he's been blasting 60 yard punts and pinning opponents down inside the 10 like in years past. He's expensive for what he does. Maybe sign Brad Wing and shut everyone up about not having any LSU players on the roster

Um, no.
Morstead has the second highest y/p average of any punter and I heard he has the highest NET average. Ever. In the history of the NFL. You don't cut something that is so advantageous.
Eta: after more research, he doesn't have highest net. But, his net average is 41 yards. That's pretty damn good.

You always defend Brees no matter what but if not for some fortunate penalties that had nothing to do with his decisions/throws, Brees himself kills us with 2 awful interceptions - both of which were more boneheaded and costly than Hocker's missed 30 yarder was.
Hocker's kick was barely no good - he's a keeper IMO. Young kickers will have some growing pains.

Yeah Morstead is solid and I like keeping guys from our SB winning team around. We're down to just a handful now anyway. I'd like him to still be here in 10 years - it's important to have longevity guys like that on your team.

ETA Barely no good from 30 yards for a professional kicker may as well have ended up in the sidelines. It's unacceptable. Especially in a dome.

Not going to happen.
Brad Wing is the Giants punter. Was traded in preseason from Pittsburgh the Giants.
