Is there any chance most of his bad play this year was dueto injury? If not, what could he do at his age to bounce back?

PS.....get Carl Nicks out of retirement next year should we?

He performed poorly last season, too.

He's done.

He needs to get on some undetectable PED. That might be his only chance of returning to top form.

Sucks the Saints couldn't have kept him here.

May be true, but he is not the same player he was 2 years ago, and, if he continues to slip...just saying...

Forget this, Nicks is DONE. His playing days are over. MRSA can be a bad bad BAD thing. His got into his bone in his foot. An infection of the bone and bone marrow like that can destroy the bone and cause deformity or result in amputation if not treated. These infections may linger and go on for several months or even years. Flare-ups of symptoms including fever and pain may occur for many years afterward. Also, it messes up the joints. His joints are gonna be all messed up, for a long time. Very sad.

Nicks had surgery, and it happened pretty quickly, like a rush situation....and although we don't know the exact details, a lot of times in surgeries for MRSA they actually remove the dead bone and surrounding tissue, just anything to try and stop it from spreading. So he may be missing a chunk of his foot, we don't really know.

Sad, what a great player he was.

I had a friend who got an MSRA infection from a hospital where he was getting treatment for a spider bite. It nearly cost him his life and fricked him over for a long long time.

Really sad actually...in his prime he was better than Evans a universally accepted All Pro...Nicks if healthy had HOF talent.

It is a vote by the fans stupid not an indication of if he's worthy. Lavonte David missed the pro bowl again.

People who think pro bowl means that player is Estill good need to watch the game. Is he done. He can't open holes for the run game and he gets blown up on pass protection

The fact that Evans was selected to the pro bowl the last two seasons is laughable and shows how bad the selection process is. No one, no one from the Saints should've bedb selected. Especially not an offensive lineman that was very bad this year and on a steep decline.
Graham is a joke and a popularity contest. He should stay home work out and hit the jug machine because he is a weak stone handed ginger.

Bump since Jahri supposedly had a "minor" injury through most of the season.

The question remains though.....what do we do with him this offseason?

The better question is can you replace his production for his money. Yes, you can. He's one of the top paid Gs in the league and is not performing. He wasn't great last season either. Don't get me wrong he has games where he shows himself very dominate but he's inconsistent and I believe age is starting to show on him. You can't keep a guy who's not performing to his expected pay levels if you have Gs on the market who can replace him.

I don't know if they have any younger Gs who are dominate going to the market but the Saints shouldn't have problems restructure that offensive line in FA if they have capable targets. The most underrated aspect about Evans is he almost never misses games his entire career. That's something a lot of you are overlooking. Yeah, it's nice to go out and get a G who is more productive at his price but it doesn't mean much if he can't ever see the field.

He just makes so much money that it's laughable. I don't see any possible way he stays unless he takes a big paycut. We need to get younger on the oline fast(4 guys are in their 30's). I'd be surprised if one of Evans/Grubbs isn't gone.
