Its just wrong place wrong time. Don't give them a gift. They stink! They have 80 yards of offense. They are only in the game because of our stupid mistakes and that was one of them.

So if one of the 3 times we could have recovered it we actually picked up the damn ball he would look like an aggressive genius. People are such bitches sometimes

I think the risk/reward factor made it a great call even though it proved unsuccessful. The risk is in giving them better field positition - around midfield, which could happen with a regular kick-off run back anyway. The reward is a turnover! An extra possession for our offense. What gives it the added bonus is that it was totally unexpected, and therefore made the chance of success much higher ( better than 50%). It also shows trust in your defense.
