That shite may cost us the season.
Every time Payton loses opener, it's 0-4 type start.

My buddy knows one of the officials that officiated that game. He said that on the pass interference called on the 4th down, the other officials thought that it was not pass interference, but they did not have the authority to overturn it because that ref had the final say on it. He also said that the 2 point conversion play to Crabtree should have been called offensive pass interference, but that the league instructed the officials to let the players play in crunch time and not influence the outcome of games.

That fricking pisses me off, the douche bag sure influenced the outcome in crunch time on the PI call.
He must have had Cooper or Murray on his fantasy team or something. Definite fix.

not sure if there was a "fix" per se, but it was definitely shady. we get called for PI when there wasn't any and they don't get called when there was.

certainly fricked up if nothing else.

That 4th down pass wasn't catchable.

That's what pissed me off more than anything.

The ref was looking to make a penalty call. It was 4th down. That was his last chance to do it. Plain and simple.

I remember when I couldn't recognize the Saints were a bad team too.

But they did just that by calling the PI on the 4th down play

Maybe the defender should've just let the pass go incomplete and not take a chance on getting a PI by touching the receiver

That same official gave us 2 PI calls that were BS.

I think he's just a bad official.

But getting to the NFL is all political

Just reported that there were 16 missed calls in the Jags-GB game. Can we get over the refs are out to get the Saints mantra and just realize the refs have been terrible all around for years now.

The point is they are told not to call things in crunch time, yet they fla a play that 100% wins the game for new orleans

Ok since you were with the guys every waking moment of their life after that call was made.

They couldn't overturn it even had they wanted too. Talking afterwards they all agreed it was definitely not PI. Call gave Oakland he game
