I know I am kinda new to this board, mostly post on the rants, but what do you think?
I won't play any fantasy football, watch any games other than the Saints, and won't buy any officially licensed NFL gear till RG is gone.
Do yall think I am wrong in my protest?
I know it means very little to the NFL's bottom line, but I feel this is what I can do in protest to the sanctions that I feel have gone too far

I think it's obvious you usually post on the rants. What does Roger Goodell get out of you playing FF or not?

Do you think he doesn't see the number of people that sign up for FF, whether it be pay or free leagues? It all is added to the popularity of the NFL.
I will always support the Saints, and watch them, but I won't do any more.
Yes, I know I am only one person, but I still feel this is what I can do to show my disapproval of his unprecedented penalties.
Yes, there should be a problem with Vilma getting the same suspension as Stallworth, who killed a man(accidental or not)
I'm not saying there should of been no penalties, but this seems extreme to me, and this is what I feel I can do

Sure, if it makes you feel good, whatever man. You're neither right nor wrong, IMO.

Well what you do is your thing? You can't rely on what or what a person isn't going to say. I say who cares, I love football and the saints, so there it is....

I hear ya but I'd still play fantasy football. Probably on another site than NFL (even tho they have best format IMO)

You don't have to watch the games.

Good luck and Geaux Saints!

I can see where this is the silliest, but I figure all or nothing.

I feel like you're not as big of a fan as you think you are. If I was doing a boycott to not give money to the NFL I'd still watch games and play ffl. I'd watch streams of he games, that gives them no money.. and fantasy football I'd play yahoo or something. Simple.

I could look for streams of the game, but my computer is a 15" monitor and my TV is a 42". Also I at least have the option on all primetime broadcasts of watching it on WDSU.

It's less wrong and more misguided. One person electing not to buy merchandise or watch games or play fantasy football makes zero difference because the NFL doesn't know they are losing one customer.

If you want to voice your displeasure, be active about it. Send letters and emails to the NFL stating your displeasure. Send an email a day. Send letters and emails to the NFLPA letting them know you support Vilma/Fujita/Smith/Hargrove. Making yourself heard is more likely to be noticed than a quiet, passive boycott.

That makes a lot of sense. I did send Goodell an email stating all of my boycott once, along with saying that I was going to volunteer to help for Super Bowl, but will not now
Was actually looking forward to that too.
Was kind of hoping I got one of those e-mails from RG that several people on here said they got. Wasn't just gonna say F you either, but be polite and courteous.

Still doesn't mean anything. Its still watching a game. If that is your excuse I don't know what to tell you, and you can plug your CPU up to the TV if you really was into that. As I was saying from my other post. Not as big as you think. You just looking for some attention, IMO.

Also the only site i know where you can stream games, is not available for NFL. Won't mention it, but it is the same one people will yell at you if you mention it on the TR.

And if anyone does have a good email address to get as high up as possible with the NFL, I will gladly send more e-mails.
Either way. Black and Gold to the Super Bowl

You're not wrong. But you not watching games or buying merch isn't going to hurt a whole lot.
