Aaron Brooks in the Saints HOF
How would you feel about this if it were to happen?

shite, I don't mind if he visits....I think everyone should get to experience visiting the Saints HoF.

yeah

not drift off topic too much, but that really ticked me off at the time. We lost La'Roi Glover, Sammy Knight, Mark Fields, etc.

and brought in guys like Jackson and Jones.

AB had a good year in 2003 too I believe. I think a good bit of it was because Deuce set the table for him. That was definitely Deuce's best season too if I remember right.

In terms of statistics, he absolutely deserves it. In that sense, he's a top 3 qb in Saints history.

The FO should account for the shitty history. Aaron Brooks and HOF should never be mentioned together.

Bobby Hebert blamed his WRs for EVERY SINGLE INTERCEPTION he threw, and he is president of Who Dat Nation.

People need to get over it. AB is the third or fourth best QB to wear a Saints uniform.

I mean, if you're going to be that nit-picky, Archie did not want Peyton to play for the Saints. Bobby bitched at everyone and held out an entire season. Jim Mora gave a "diddly poo" speech and quit on the team the next day. Everybody does something stupid sometimes.

He had way more good moments than bad during his career here. All the Rams' games, the game at SF in 2000, etc. It's just a "cool" thing to bring up his bad moments.

They also like to blame him for the Panthers game. If Haslett had the sack to bench his arse and play Delhomme, things might have been a lot different. But he didn't. I don't blame Brooks as much for that as I did Haslett.

Jim Marshall ran the wrong way.

He should never be in the Vikings Hall of Fame.

I blame Haslett too though. His drafts sucked for the most part from 2003-2005.

I wonder how Brooks' career would have turned out if McCarthy hadn't left.

I think it's an unfortunate thing for Brooks that he's more associated with the crap ending as opposed to that first playoff win and his legit stats. I know the circumstances weren't in his favor, but his attitude towards the end didn't endear him to a lot of fans. So I'm torn on it, honestly.

I think he was close to breaking even on the good/bad moments.

started off pretty good in 2000.

up-and-down in 2001.

started off great in 2002... got hurt.. team fell apart at the end of the season.

2003 he was really steady. Benefited from a strong ground led by Deuce. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

2004 another up-and-down season.

frick 2005.

that 2003 season, he really didn't make many mistakes throwing the ball.

had the lowest interception total of his Saints career that year.

but that was also the last time the Saints had a RB run for over 1600 yards in a season. Deuce ran so hard that year. I think it helped Brooks out a lot in the passing game.

Has any HOF member been booed at the on field ceremony? Hell.. for any franchise. He would be by a lot of people.
