So basically everyone in America thinks the penalty is too harsh except for New Orleans Saints fans who think they got away with murder.

not at all, just inconsistent

Also, per reddit, there are a lot of fans who think they deserved more.

not really, the general perception across the country is actually cheating the game is far worse than what saints did.
