Laquon Treadwell

Guilty.

In my defense... my main description of what I wanted was a big physical receiver who could make plays on the ball at the catch point. I felt like the rest of our offense lacked the physicality to make plays outside the numbers and our playcalling was a reflection of that weakness. I felt like treadwell was the best receiver in this class at making those types of catches. He didn't exceed in any category except physicality, but that's what we really needed.

I didn't expect Thomas to do what he has done. I was still very excited when we took him because he was in the next tier of receivers I wanted and I was just so glad the team addressed what I thought was their #1 need in the 2nd round.

You're kidding yourself if you don't think Treadwell would have played early and often with us. Apparently Zimmer has some deal with rookies and is taking it to the next level with Treadwell.

I'm very happy with Thomas though, he's been fantastic.

Was my favorite, by far, in the draft...

Like Kevin White, an injury during the rookie season will likely stunt his growth.

I wanted Tyler Boyd. I liked Shepard, but I thought we needed a bigger guy like Boyd or Treadwell and thought Shepard would be more like Cooks.

Zimmer is old school AF and basically redshrting Treadwell.

Still love Thomas tho with the size/speed ratio.

Any of those receivers as long as they stayed healthy would have 20+ receptions by now with Drew as their QB!!
