Daniel Jeremiah's Updated Top 50 list

DJ's Mock 3.0 Post-Combine

Has us taking Collins. Don't hate it. Only other player I'd have rathered there would be Dupree.

Matt Miller (B/R) Post-Combine Mock (DESLIDED!)

Miller has us taking Beasley. I still have a few issues with him, and would like to watch some more, but i think it's a moot point because I don't see Beasley getting to us after his combine.

I don't think Landon goes anywhere near that high.

Maybe not, but like I said my mock will change 2-3 times before the draft. Cant really predict what people will do until FA starts. They may go with an edge rusher instead. But they do need safety help bad! They are not keeping Meriweather and Clark retired. So....

Yeah I definitely agree, and mocks are tough before FA. And there's no doubt the Redskins need a S, but Landon is a mid-late first round prospect at best to me and is benefiting from a very weak safety class.

Already had to change something on there. I'm convinced the Eagles are going to do whatever it takes to get Mariota. Probably gonna give up most of their 2016 draft to get him.

Can you say Ditka/Ricky?

And I added my 2nd round pick / your favorite guy...

goodness. I wouldn't hate it, buuuttt you know.

And yeah I really hope the Eagles sell out for Mariota a) because Mariota getting picked 1-12 means a player we want falls to us. And b) I have my doubts about him and if they mortage their future for him and he busts, they're in deep dog shite for a little while.

And I feel like the closer to the draft it's going to create an in-board rivalry among linebackers. #TeamDawson

But Philly is probably the best place for him to go and actually be successful so it may work out for them.

Dawson may not go until the 3rd, he had a bad combine. I wouldn't have a problem with us drafting him though. Another 2nd round possibility is Perryman from Miami.

....or maybe even Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest.

Dawson's tape still does it for me. I mean I just see a really good football player. I'll hold out my final judgement until he has his pro day. If he rights his wrongs from his combine we'll be good. If he has another shitty day then I'll start thinking twice. I still think regardless, he doesn't fall to the 3rd.

And like I said, I think Perryman can be good, as with McKinney, just not for the Saints' needs. They're pretty much the two worst coverage LBs of the top-five main group.

I like Kevin Johnson, I like Alex Carter from Stanford too, or PJ Williams (but I have my doubts he'll fall to us in the second).

However, my favorite CB (from the second round, on) is Quentin Rollins from Maimi(OH). He's just a tad raw, but he's a baller and really athletic, great movements. Played bball as well. Just has a nose for the game and his tape pops out at you.

All good prospects but I think Johnson has a little more height though, could help with all the tall TEs and WRs across the league. Which is one of the main reasons I think we drafted SJB last year I believe.

Dont know anything about him, I'll have to do some research on him.

My wish list for guys who could be there at 13 is Beasley, Waynes, one of the top 2 wr's, and Collins.

I'm with the guy saying no on McKinney. He doesn't make sense for what we need. Isn't he just in the same mold, and same style of player as the guys we already have?

Everyone keeps saying that, so I may be wrong about the guy.

good job meat!

At #13 and with the team needs the possibility list is a lot clearer and easier to define.

I'd add Brandon Scherff as a take before Collins if available. We'll have to see how free agency plays out for the guard position. If Grubbs or Evans go I wouldn't mind getting younger and MUCH cheaper with one of the top 2 OL in the draft.

Trae Waynes is simple. The best corner in the draft. Is he a #13 plug and play shutdown? That's what they must decide.

If one of the top 4 pass rushers slipped any of them could be easy takes too. (Fowler, Ray, Beasley, Gregory). Dupree should definitely be available.

I can't say I would have any qualms about any of those seven. Maybe Gregory's size but we're seeing more lightweight pass rushing picks each year (Irvin, Mingo, etc)

He's a thumper in the middle we sorely missed last year. He's also very versatile and could line up at OLB to pass rush on 3rd downs. He did that often at MSU.

Hawthorne and Lofton are thumpers too but they disappeared in games last year and the one thing they are supposed to be good at, (Stopping the run) they were awful at last year. I'm not saying draft him in the first round, but if he or Kendricks is there in the second, you jump all over them.
