If we get homefield advantage next year we are virtually a lock to win a Super Bowl. Saints can't be beat in the dome.

Amazing that the two NFCCG participants have lower odds than the Chargers who missed the playoffs this year.

I may put $50 on the Colts for shits and giggles.

If Manning comes back healthy (big if), when is the last time they flat-out sucked with him at QB?

not trying to be a dick, but how can they put odds on the SB when most of the free agent acquisitions and the draft haven't occured yet? pardon my ignorance, i'm not much of a gambler...

and another question, if the odds are 100-1 and you bet 100 dollars, do you walk away with $10,000

Odds are mainly based on betting trends. The house wants to keep equal amounts of money on either side of the line, so that they never lose.

They will base the lines on how people bet, and they put the opening odds out based on something like records this year. As people bet, the odds will move.

This is why you can bet on pretty much anything under the sun. As long as the opening line/odds aren't bat shite crazy, they can't lose. If there is heavy betting one way, they will keep moving the line until people start betting the other way. It's sorda like a pendulum that eventually stops.

means if you put down 1 dollar, you leave with 100 if you win. So, yes.

That's gonna be a trick isn't it? Seems like playing (and losing) playoff games on the road is in our heads.

Because they know we're an elite team & will make the right moves. Plus we got Breesus.

Why's that? I think Phillys going to be really good next year. A whole season for those guys to gel and now we actually get an offseason. They were on fire down the stretch.

That defense is gonna suck though.

I'd put the Lions even higher.

I think that is just media BS. The longer anything goes on the more they play it up. It all ends sometimes. When I heard the stat of Brees having the longest playoff streak with no INT I thought uh-oh. Just cuz the streak has nothing to do with a streak it's just probability. The further you go with any record positive or negative the closer you are getting to the end of it. Odds are after 60 years the Lions should be getting closer to a Super Bowl say than they were 30 years ago.
