There are a ton of combos I could dig.
I'm not a huge fan of the pass rushers this year, at least in our range, and I think lael Collins is going to be great in the nfl so I like him as BPA at 13. The remainders just depend on BPA, keeping in mind needs for the tie breaker.
Combo 1
lael Collins
Eric kendricks
Eli Harold or owa odighizuwa

I'd also love to see DGB w/ 31. He's the only WR I like in the first unless cooper or white are in enough reach to trade a 3rd rounder, or Parker falls to 31:

Top LB:
Mckinney/Harold/perryman/anthony

but it's hard to believe the saints will go 2 offensive players in round 1, even though both positions are needs, so I believe this would be more likely with DGB:
Top pass rusher- Dupree/Gregory

Top LB McKinney/perryman/etc

Would be devastating to opposing offenses. Not only would the pass rush & underneath coverage improve but these players would take a ton of pressure off of the secondary guys. The team's forced turnover numbers who skyrocket.

I think this is my favorite combo for the first round and take BPA out of pass rusher/LB in the second.
A big argument against it is that we're looking to improve defense, but improving our offense does improve the defense since a major factor last year was the defense staying on the field and tiring.
And we need to protect our franchise qb

Exactly. My faith in the saints to hit on 3 defensive players in early rounds is hovering just above 0. I'd much rather at least get our offense elite again and more pressure on the opposition to keep up.
