I think the FO realized their mistakes and worked this off-season to remedy it. It doesn't absolve them of past mistakes, and you can make the case they deserve to be fired, but at least they're not continuing head on in arrogance.

Yeah, I don't think people realize this was a pretty big move. Repriesh wasn't just head of scouting, he was given a good bit of credit for past successes and even got a GM interview with another team. Because Loomis is a bean counter and Payton has always outsourced the defense, we really do need someone else in the FO to help carry some of the load. Hopefully Ireland can help right the ship.

No one is losing it over Rooks not working out but it's not like that pick is nothing. Getting a guy who can take one snap for your team at that spot would be nice.

Yes, but the percentages past like the 4th round of even making the team are really low. Im not saying he is flawless, just that 5th and 6th rounders rarely make teams to begin with.

You're right but when you get like 25 plays out of 5 of the 6 players you drafted they're all gonna get in.

1. Gave up a 3rd to take Cooks
2. ignored center knowing damn well we needed to address it
3. picked a bunch of productive, but injury prone college players with high ceilings.
4. took a project new sherman "prototype" that knew minimal about being a DB, thought they could coach him up.
