How do you think other teams' fans act?

Cowboys win SBs and are on top of the world. Now they are going through a bunch of years of futility and Jerry Jones is terrible and Tony Romo is terrible yada yada yada.

Lakers won a bunch of titles now they are terrible and are criticized for bringing in Dwight and hiring the wrong coach and they are the biggest disappoint in the NBA yada yada yada.

Red Sox win a WS and they are the best and then they spend a bunch of money and suck and trade all their players and get rid of the GM and they are now the worst yada yada yada

Steelers win multiple SBs and then have an off year and all of a sudden they are too old and they suck and their fans want a complete overhaul yada yada yada

Bulls post Jordan struggled for awhile in the Eddy Curry/Chandler/Fizer/Brand/JayWilliams/Jalen Rose years. Jerry Krause became a moron, Scott Skiles was fired, the team could do no right and was in shambles yada yada yada

Welcome to sports and the what have you done for me lately mindset. Winning cures and trumps all. Until you start losing againg

+1

Every team has terrible fans. Some are bandwagon fans, some are horribly pessimistic, others have terrible a terrible sense of entitlement

Sports can make people that way

true. however I have traveled a lot and lived in multiple cities and the front running fans in Louisiana have them all beat. its really pathetic and most noticeable at Hornets games.

I agree. They suck. I have season tickets and have been to about 8 games. But I renewed next year in hopes of watching a winning team.

Not going to buy Hornets gear when they are about to rebrand after the season. But I would also never wear the opponents gear.

I'm not sure the OP gets that fussing here does not equate to fussing to he's mad at.

Didn't read whole thread, but I'm dead serious when I say that Heat fans outnumbered Hornets fans tonight. Was terrible being around so many insufferable bandwagon flatbilled doobrah counts.

I have season tickets in section 115 and the amount of people to see Lebron come out the tunnel was crazy. Then people gave him a standing ovation when he came out in the 2nd quarter... Ive been to a couple other arenas and you do not see that s*** anywhere else!

- LSU football was never even close to as big as it has been in recent years. let Miles run the program down and have a couple of bad or even just decent seasons and the games won't sellout like they do now. we are already seeing a lot of this with thousands of front runners leaving the games early.

- Saints football was a complete joke until Drew Brees and Sean Payton showed up. now everyone and their brother is a Saints fan in Louisiana. the Saints had their first bad season in several years and tons of idiots were calling for Brees to be traded, saying his contract was stupid and not deserved, etc. front runners also left very early during the games as well.

- Hornets basketball has been the biggest joke of them all next to only maybe Tulane football. with the exception of the 2008 playoff run and the following 08-09 season (when the front runners showed up for a little while), the fan support has been downright pathetic and inexcusable. the amount of Louisiana people who show up to cheer on trendy teams like the Heat and Lakers are the lowest scum of sports "fans" in the world.

Once you've convinced yourself, nothing will persuade you otherwise, but this is not unlike most other markets out there. It really isn't. It just seems that way to you because of proximity and daily familiarity.

.@DwyaneWade on tonight's #HEATwin: In a sense it felt like a home game here tonight, it was an awesome environment for us.

Yea I was there as well..pretty awful and disturbing display by our fans. I had Heat fans on my left, right, front..they were everywhere. And yea, that's bullshite. It was embarrassing. An if people think that many bandwagon fans drove all the way here from Miami, you're just lying to yourselves. Them fools were right outa Nola, cheering LOUD against their own team. Stupid and embarrassing. Unloyal and pathetic. It was also a "terrific" showing of our fans to any up an coming free-agent this summer..facking ridiculous and if u think different, you're the guy who wants everyone to win an all get pizza together after the game. It's professional sports. Pick a f**king side.

I contributed to the heat home game. I got $220 each for tickets that cost $50. Can't pass that kind of money up for a game I don't give a frick about. (Since we were eliminated from playoff contention)

Would it everyone be complaining about this if the Hornets won?

Fewer would.

Perspective.

And isn't this the wrong place to systematically insult Heat fans? Kind of cowardly.

Probably not. When we beat the big market teams or if it is a close game we are loud. Looking at the score it didn't seem close.

Last night was one of the most embarrassing, pathetic experiences at a sporting event for me ever. I wanted to punch every pathetic heat "fan" in the damn face. What a bunch of absolute losers.

I felt bad for our players. It was way worse than any Lakers game...and I never thought it possible.
