Would Murray/Dunn/Hield and Barnes be better than Ryno and Gordon?

Seems like Barnes would be able to do everything Ryno did and not be a liabilty on defense and one of the rooks would be a solid addition off the bench. Plus they can develop along with AD and not take up 15 Million a year to play 30 games a season.
Looks to me at worst case we would be as good or better simply by drafing Hield/Murray/Dunn and Trying to sign Barnes.
Holiday/Cole
Evans/Rookie
Barnes/QPon
AD/Cunningham
Asik/Ajinca
I would be happy with that lineup. My only wish would be to get rid of Asik and ridiculous contract.

That lineup is pretty much 2nd worst case scenario for me this off-season outside of trading our pick for another "young vet"

despite his horrific finals I think someone is still going to pay Barnes way too much, I just hope that it isn't us

If you could somehow find a way to pay Barnes like a fourth option, sure.
Problem is, that while he probably lost his chance to get paid like a high upside second option, I.E. the max, he is probably still going to get paid like a solid second or third option by some team.
So yea, in two years I do think a Barnes/Hield or Dunn combo would be better, the cost is not worth it for Barnes and it would handicap the rest of the team because of that though.

I don't know but we have got to do something at C. Asik is garbage and we still owe him what? 3 more years? Ajinca is a decent back up, but he's not a starter.

I understand getting rid of Asik, but I thought Ridiculous Contract really started showing some promise at the end of the year. Could we not give him one more year?
