Yeah he’s a great player and all but he lacks the intangibles that all the truly great players have. I’m talking leadership, willpower, grit, toughness. Make the players around you rise up and being capable of putting the team on your back night in and night out. He lacks all these qualities and unfortunately I’m starting to doubt if he will ever become the truly great player we all hope to see

He has been guarded by Chandler Parsons almost the whole 2nd half and has yet to take him down on the block to abuse him, like he is more than capable of doing. I just can't believe it, watching it happen..

It may be time to start considering AD not being a Top 10 player in the league if he can’t lead this team to the playoffs.

Look at this roster outside of AD and DC.

because we have the worst fricking coach in the league that thinks it ok for Cousins to take 35 footers all fricking night long

Well he’s definitely not a top 10 player. Unless he develops a decent dribble and great court vision he will never be a top player in this league. This league is guard driven and then you have guys like Lebron and Durant who are the same size as AD but way more athletic and can be ball dominant

this board's overreaction is about as solid as the Pelicans bench tonight

This is a dumb thread and a retard hot take.

Shots weren’t falling for AD but he had zero help from his coach and GM and still had a boss stat line

As Antonio Daniels was basically shouting at the screen, that is on the PG.

You have to recognize the mismatch and take advantage. If they bring a double team than you take advantage of the breakdown, but it was PG criminality to go up and down the court possession after possession and barely take advantage of that.

Everybody is saying that Davis and Cousins are the PG in this offense. But the coach should have recognized it. The announcers kept saying it too, cause it was just obvious. It was a huge mismatch or should have been..
