Why isn't CP3 getting more flack for what he did to AD?

He intentionally ran into AD as they were running down the court and did his usual acting/flopping job, all while hurting AD's knee.
This is more egregious than what Patrick Beverly did when he was just playing aggressive defense.

Bc CP3 has done this about 5 times a game for the past 10 years. This was actually a very polite version of his usual drawing contact move.

It wasn't a sports move. It was a douche move to throw his body into AD as he is running down the court to make it look like he was fouled. Any person with an IQ over 90 can figure out that there are inherent risks involved with such behavior. Surely you don't believe that CP3 accidentally ran into AD or that it was a basketball move?
Flopping is not part of basketball. It's shitty, selfish, and immoral behavior. It's like football players on defense pretending to be hurt so that they can slow the game down.
The NBA as an organization lets it slide for their marquee players because its all about money, but it's kind of sad that NBA fans think this is acceptable behavior.

If you actually look at the end of the video and see where he tries to hook ADs foot with his left foot that's where it's clearly intentional. Such a piece of s--- move. How many coaches out there are teaching this to their young players??? Sad that a declining basketball player like CP3 has to resort to this. That's why he will never win the big game. Flopping doesn't win championships

Wow I didn't notice that but he definitely swung his leg out at the end to create extra contact. Changes perspective slightly.

i still don't see much contact there as well. but at some point in the first half, something happened and AD was rubbing his knee. the same knee, i believe. so it may have been residual from that.

From seeing that clip it wasn't a dirty play and I don't think cp was trying to intentionally hurt AD. AD is just fragile and can break like glass at any moment. That is the real issue but people want to blame a 6 foot tiny point guard for AD's prone to injury. I love AD and he's a superstar but it is really getting old watching him leave early every game or going back to the locker room after he steps on another's foot or stubs his toe
