Why are the Pels so quiet?

I just don't get it. After getting Boogie and resigning Jru, the Pels seem to have shut down. All these other teams in the west are making moves and the Pels seem to be complacent with mediocrity. I really hope they can land one more key player, but I have lost all faith in Dell to build this team.

Just because nothing is coming out doesn't mean we aren't trying to make moves. Just how it goes sometimes.

Dell has been told to wait. All the secret good players are available at the end of free agency.

Great point here man. E'twaun Moore is such a problem he needs to be listed twice.

two are not like the other.

I'm sure you meant Hill in one of the e'twaun moores

Moore is definitely one of the better contracts for what he brings.

Our contracts have us significantly handicapped. The best move Dell can make right now is dumping shite contracts, but that comes at the price of an asset on our side which is limited (basically draft picks which likely wont be all that great).

Dell knows there is a lot of pressure on him to make things work, but we are in a tricky situation given our approximation to the tax. I definitely expect him to make some move (signing or trade or both) before the season starts and will wait to judge until then.

It's hard for me from a fans perspective to rationalize it when I feel like players should want to play with guys like AD and Boogie.

But then I remember that we have very little money and we just signed a good pg.

In the last 5 months

Pels added/kept Cousins/Holiday and lost Buddy/Galloway/Reke

TWolves added/kept Butler/Teague and lost Rubio/Dunn/Lavine/Shabazz

It's like Minnesota seems to have shut down after they got Butler and Teague.

Get a hold of yourself man. If the Cousins trade went down 5 days ago instead of 5 months ago everybody would be praising Demps for keeping up in the arms race instead of falling behind.

Another thing to note is that the moratorium will be lifted tomorrow at 12:01pm ET. I wonder if that's when we'll get a flurry of news? Maybe we won't, but wouldn't surprise me either way.

It's the NBA dude. We have to wait until the Lakers, Celtics, warriors, and Cavaliers fill up their rosters

Moore is the only one who doesn't belong on that list and you mentioned him twice. Hill is the one you forgot.

They aren't even mentioned in rumors outside of Swaggy on real gm.

FWIW. Frank Jackson is not signed yet. After the signing we are prohibitted to trade him for a month. Not saying that he is going to be traded.

Looks like Dell is leaving all options open.

Toupane and Cook cannot be traded before July 8th. But can be agreed into trade. Remember Asik trade? We were waiting for NG to be possible to trade.

Wait

Jackson is not likely someone teams are targeting. He has no value cap-wise in a trade.

You will be surprised what is valued in the eyes of GM.

I am not saying - he will be traded.
But let's say f.e. Suns love him. Thanks to him our offer for let's say Bledsoe will be the best.

Don't expect this, but sometimes it is smart to have all options...

Dell doesn't have the OK to sign anybody in free agency until Mickey Loomis is completely done with Saints Training Camp.
