116. What are the important CBA-related dates each season?
The following dates are referenced in the CBA, starting with July 1, which is the first day of the salary cap year. Any deadline which falls on a Saturday, Sunday or federal holiday is extended to the next business day.

Free agents become free (GORDON)
Unrenounced free agents, scale amounts for first round picks playing outside the NBA, and roster charges are applied to team salary (see question number 14).

Adding another true all star to a Davis/Holiday/Evans 2016 roster would make the Pelicans one of the most talented teams in the league.
Just for example, a
roster would never be beaten. Ever. And I'm not saying we will sign Durant. That would be one of the best of all possibilities. I'm just amazed that I haven't looked that far in advance until now.

. I was just using Durant as an example, but it was a poor choice of an example. It probably takes some credit away from my point - that we would have ample space to sign a big name.
