Oak will start, but I wouldn't be surprised for Kaman and him to split even minutes when the game is said and done. Kaman offers us more on the offensive end than Oak, but we'll see. I'm sure Monty will judge the playing time depending on how each plays.

I agree with this. However given Monty's defensive philosophies I think Mek gets slightly more PT. I like both guys in different ways so I'm fine wi either starting.

I was talking to a friend about this the other day. In certain situations I think this is very viable. With the bigs we have now we can do a lot of things with who goes where.

I'm excited to see what kind of different packages Monty will throw together.

Okafor and Kaman can play together without Okafor having to shoot jump shots.

No way. All PFs play like D West...... it's the only way we can hope to win. Ignore the actual history of the position.

Where do you expect us to get our scoring from in a lineup of

Jack
Gordon
Ariza
Okafor
Kaman

Yeah, I forgot.. Gordon is going to jack up 70 shots per game while everyone else plays defense and rebounds.

We really want a power forward who has stone hands and can only score from 3 ft away. Hey, maybe Trevor Ariza learned how to shoot.. it's a Christmas miracle!

Ok will start virtually every game at C that he's healthy for. That's not much of a question.

Kaman is a pretty good shooting big man. He can step out and provide the 18 foot jumpshot while Okafor still hangs around the rim getting garbage baskets, tip outs and rebounds...

On offense Kaman would play 4 and oaky 5. On defense the other way around. Not that hard to figure out.

Gordon and Kaman, with Landry scoring off the bench.

Kaman can score. You don't need both of your big men to score. I don't know what you're even talking about.

People get way too caught up in labeling guys as "4" or "5". Kaman can step out and play away from the rim, while Okafor will be more of an inside player. If you want to call Okafor the 5, then fine. However, he won't be guarding the opposing team's center on the defensive end while Kaman is on the floor with him.
