Sanders.

I like Evans, I think his deal is fair, and I think he is a real talent. But Sanders is a young big man just starting to figure things out. He is a defensive force right now and you expect him to get better over the next few years.

Sanders. Good bargain for Milwaukee. It's always cheaper to extend early than wait til the contract runs out though so it's a rough comparison.

Even more so when they are RFA, you have to make offers that the other team will consider not matching.

Yep. Sanders has a decent shot at being a top 5 center within the next few years. Though with a dearth of SGs right now, Evans very well could be a top 5 player at his position if he improves his outside shot to above average percentages. Still, if they offered Sanders for Evans with their having pretty much the same contracts, I'd take Sanders.

Tyreke will flourish with the Pelicans

Sanders by a wide margin IMO. $11M/yr is the outer limit of Tyreke's value. Sanders would've gotten more if he hit free agency next summer.

Tyreke. Sanders is very good. On potential alone, I choose tyreke a hundred times over

He was smart to sign now though. Get that money in case of injury or a down year.

I agree. One in the hand is better than two in the bush.

Sanders, probably. But that doesn't in any way mean Tyeke is a bad deal for the Pelicans.

Debate is irrelevant. Pelicans weren't going to land Evans without overpaying.

Sanders is underpaid.

Who is more worthy of a contract? A player that signed an early extension or a player that was signed by another team as an RFA?

RFAs that change teams are almost always overpaid. Larry Sanders would cost more than 4/$44 if a team were able to steal him away. A better comparison would probably be Tyreke at 4/$44 and Larry Sanders at 4/$55.
