incentives would have to be steep for certain players. LBJ for example, doesn't "need" the money. Any incentive for him to stay would have to have been ridiculous.

Either way, if set up properly, that could work.

Watching the Clippers/Grizzlies game...

TNT announcers repeatedly calling QPon a "great defensive player."

Monty sitting at home thinking "you're welcome."

I was thinking yesterday while watching the knicks game, "They have 3 former hornet's players out there contributing".

1. Chandler
2. Davis
3. J.R. Smith

And now QPon on another team and Thornton tearing it up in Sacramento....

Kinda makes you wonder, what the hell man?!?

Meh no team in this playoffs appeal to me. Would go for the Warriors as my second fav team if they ever decided to win.

CP3 is the man!

ETA: Not a Clippers fan, but definitely a Chris Paul fan!

all the stars are leaving now. Dwight, Deron, Carmelo, etc....Small market team drafts star and they get three seasons to win a title. If they don't, they go to one of the five teams that signs whoever the hell they want every season....kinda sucks

The thing I never get is people keep saying it's a big market/small market deal. Cleveland and Miami are the same size.. LINK .. All those guys just want to do it the easy way. Hopefully it's a fade and goes away soon (especially after this experiment fails).

This is overblown as well. They all live in different places anyway during the offseason, so what would that matter?

Guys just want to go to the easiest place to get a ring. City or market size has nothing to do with it.

DIAF

...clippers will lose this series, CP3 will bitch and whine, and LBJ could have won a title in Cleveland.
