Doesn't he have TRex arms, or was that his brother? If it's him I imagine that will drop him a few spots once the combine and focus on measurements comes around.

dude is 7ft/240 and plays below the rim. not impressed. he and davis are the same pos player. zeller is light in the arse. 240 aint playing center for no building team. he has heart, skill and hustle but he does get pushed by shorter stronger forwards in college. pw is his spot and we dont need it. sf, pg or an actual center prospect.

He has the same wingspan as Eric Bledsoe. He's awesome though, I definitely wouldn't call him soft, seems like he is always finishing through contact.

What the...?

I think you just stereotyped the frick out of Zeller, watch him play more.

shite!! didnt mean it like that. my point was that he's put at center and does not impress. baller...yes. just seems to be another outstanding college player to me. i've seen him play. top 5 is a stretch for him imo. he's not center wich is worth a top pick but he's a forward and there are a shite load of fa's and current prospects lower than him that can produce his possible numbers.

that's fair

I think in today's NBA, he is a center, but it really doesn't matter too much since he should be able to play both. Don't think you find too many legit 7 footers with post moves and he runs the floor as well as any big man prospect.

No he isn't. He's somewhere in the top 3 at the moment but there isn't a consensus #1 right now.

I didn't make that up. He's #1 overall is most mock drafts right now, 11/28/12.

I'd say some, not most. They aren't a good indication right now, anyway.

I am just talking right now. Doesn't mean it's going to be true.

From the NBA mocks updated in November:

James McAdoo is another interesting name that might actually be more realistic for us

Is this a joke? Do you even know what consensus mean? Anthony Davis was a consensus #1. He would have been picked #1 regardless of team needs.

If 90% of your list isn't Zeller, so it's not really a consensus now is it? You don't also account for the fact that a lot of Mocks are also keeping team needs in mind. So that skews the rankings.

BTW: 4 of those sites you listed for Zeller has someone other than Zeller as the top prospect. You might want to check your sources again. So if you revise it, the rankings are still all over the place and no one has distinguish themselves as the top dog in this draft.

There are no franchise changers, or number 1 options in this draft.

I don't know about that but Mason would definitely looks good next to Anthony Davis. That would make for a very athletic front court.

seriously?

It's a thread in November about the top pick. 7 of the 13 mocks have him at #1 right now, which is what we were talking about. Consensus, majority, whatever. A consensus is a general agreement, I didn't know you put a percentage on it. You're going to nitpick my vocabulary because you looked stupid Smdh
