Jrue Holiday - Expected to play "restricted" minutes until January 2016 (Current Avg is 20.5 MPG)

Norris Cole - OUT until "early December" with ankle injury (so, <2 weeks)

Tyreke Evans - OUT (Knee), Practiced yesterday and "could" play tonight!

Quincy Pondexter - OUT (Left Knee), Little has been said about his exact return except that it's widely known that his return would be after both Cole's and Evans'.

Kendrick Perkins - OUT (Pec) - out for at least 2 more months

So, without additional injuries, the Pels won't be 100% healthy until Feb 2016, but the majority of the group should be back next month. If the Pels can somehow get the January with a .500 record, I'd feel very confident that we'd be a playoff team.

A lot has to happen before then, but a lot happened late last season to propel us into the playoffs. So, anything can happen.

I highly, highly doubt Tyreke plays tonight. Actually, I'd bet a million dollars he doesn't.

I attended a brief, private kids clinic at practice facility yesterday where Ish & Alonzo Gee helped run. It was supposed to have been Q Pon, but he "had to catch a flight to go get treatment on his knee". I didn't get any more details, but found it odd he couldn't get local treatment. Maybe Gordon's old Cali doctor. Regardless, doesn't sound too good

I bet my life that AD doesn't record a double-double tonight.

High ankle sprains are tricky. He could return 100% by mid-december or he could be like Brandon Harris and still be dealing with it in feburary. It just all depends on what all was damaged and how fast a particular person heals (rehab and training routing is included). I hate seeing an athelete get one because you just neve know and it is frustrating for a fan.

quote:

In the high ankle sprain, there are several structures potentially damaged. These include ligaments that connect the tibia to the fibula known as the tibfib ligaments, as well as a tissue called the interosseous membrane. The severity of this injury often depends on how many of these structures are damaged. The recovery time frame varies from 8 weeks to 6 months and this is why the high ankle sprain is so dreaded.
