What would GSW or LAC trades involve?

Everyone seems to agree that a trade with Golden State or LAC would be the ideal options, but could someone help me out with what we could expect to get from them?

Please be as detailed as you can :D.

Obviously Curry would need to be involved for GS to work. And who else, Udoh, Wright? Others?

And for LA, Bledsoe, Jordan and maybe Gordon and Minny's 1st? Is there anything else we could get?

I saw somewhere that the Clips want to give Jordan a new deal which I'm assuming may mean that they want to keep him or they want to screw us over in a deal.

Curry, Wright and Udo would be the targets for sure. Maybe Biedrins if we're dumping a ton of salary.

Aminu could be added as a possibility to that, as well as Kaman's expiring.

so far i'm seeing this

Chris Paul, Emeka Okafor and Trevor Ariza for
Eric Bledsoe, DeAndre Jordan, Chris Kaman and Minnesota's unprotected 2012 first-round pick.

and this

Chris Paul, Trevor Ariza and Jarrett Jack for Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis, Klay Thompson, Ekpe Udoh and Dorell Wright.

and just because

Chris Paul and Trevor Ariza to Boston
Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley and Emeka Okafor to Indiana
Brandon Rush, Darren Collison, Paul George, Roy Hibbert, Glen Davis and Boston's first-round pick in 2012 to New Orleans.

They're not trying to screw us.

Jordan's an RFA whose contract has expired. The terms of what the Clips offering him was ungodly high ($40 million / 5 years), but some idiots are probably offering him even more than that which they'll have the right to match.

Boston's first-round pick in 2012 to New Orleans.

This should be the LA Clippers' Top 10 protected 2012 first-round pick instead of Boston's pick.

It seems like the Warriors deal is much better because Curry is already a star but considering this draft class, how do you pass on MN's draft pick? Not to mention if Paul agrees to sign long term in LA they may even be able to include Gordon.

don't know this is how it was setup, i guess Boston wouldn't want to give it up.

i think Gordon is the key to the whole thing. If they give up Gordon, I have to believe Demps jumps all over it.

The only reason to pass on the pick would be if Minny somehow trades that collection of spare parts they have to put contributors around Love and Rubio.

I don't think Kahn will be able to pull it off, though, because that roster is the Island Of Misfit Toys.

Boston needs to ask themselves if they want to gamble on the Clips finishing past the 10 spot this year or resigning CP3.

Minn has a pretty decent coach now, only thing that concerns me about the Minny pick.

Houston has the Phoenix pick I think, and they might be worse than Minny. I don't want to trade with Houston though.

i don't think they would be able to CP3 in Boston.
I would mind having George, Collison and Hibbert though

Do you guys think we'd more than likely see a deal done before Christmas?

The price is dependent on the bidding and competition. I think if the Clippers were the only option the lowball price would be Kaman and Minny pick. They aren't the only option so they have to offer more than that, so I see the floor as

Aminu or Bledsoe + Kaman + Minny Pick

The Warriors don't have a 2012 1st rounder, so for them to match this you're probably looking at

Curry, Klay Thompson, Wright and probably Amundson rather than Udoh.

I'd call that the realistic floor for a deal.

The only reason to trade with Houston will be if CP3 refuses to extend ANYWHERE and Houston offers a better package than Boston or Dallas.

Houston's got so many young guys and picks that they could conceivably offer a great deal we can't pass up.

Yes. I do not think CP will play another game as a Hornet. I think a deal will be done before the season.

The way the trade market is appearing for CP3, I figure it will be done before then.

We've got at least three teams interested in him without him signing an extension and several more out there dependent on him extending.

There's just too much risk in waiting. One of the selling points to both the Clippers and Warriors is they have the roster moves available to go after Howard too. If Orlando is tired of waiting and takes a deal from the Lakers then the Clippers and Warriors will probably have less interest meaning they will be less willing to part with assets.
