This is a pointless endeavor. 3-4 years ago most people would have thought Durant would be a lifelong Thunder, but the moment the team decided it had to choose between Ibaka and Harden was the moment they told Durant they didn't think he was worth building around. Nobody will have any clue which direction this is going until it's so right it can't be stopped, or until ownership/management obviously screws it up.
So far they've surrounded AD with a good bit of talent, but can they get the talent level over the hump is the hard part. Other teams with superstars have had problems with that and that's when you see them go into desperation mode and sign James Posey to a long term deal or overpay for a well past his useful days Shaq.

Hard to say at this point. As everyone knows, it depends upon the talent placed around him, the success the team has in the next couple of years or so, and his relationship with the coach and management. I'd say the Pelicans have a decent chance of keeping him if the play their cards right and don't have shitty luck.

Very few players stay with one team their whole career. Even franchise players. Jordan, Olajuwon, Shaq, Drexler, Ewing, Barkley, Iverson, Nash, McGrady, LeBron, Carmelo, Howard, etc...
The few that have stayed with the same team are guys like Duncan, Wade, Nowitzki, Kobe, etc.

This question might be better off being asked after he gets re-signed.

Depends on how the front office builds the team around him. I think he resigns with the pels after his rookie deal is done, but if the front office doesn't have him in position to win a championship by the last year of that contract I have a sneaky feeling it will be Lebron 2.0 .
but we winning it all just as soon as we fire monty, get rid of EG, and hire George Karl.
