Why is that our go-to when you have a freak of nature and one of the better 3-pt shooters in the game?

I've been asking that question for the last 2 years and have yet to hear a legitimate reason.

You run pick n roll w reke And Davis then have Davis crash the boards. Prob the best play the pels can run for a bucket.

Ummm... it's always been our default late game play.

Not getting a shot up earlier and ISOing Tyreke is about the dumbest thing possible. Want to do either of those dumbass decisions? Fine. Tyreke shoots much earlier or Davis takes the final shot.

That was the call. You see Davis waving to Tyreke to come to the pick. Tyreke ignored him

It was a pick n roll/pop play with Davis. Tyreke ignored Davis.

If they switch in p n r then Duncan is defending the shot leaving the paint vacated for Davis to follow. Tyreke should shoulder the blame for that not monty that should he a high percentage play

I was screaming why didn't we use our timeout there? Shot and game clocks were nearly identical. Call the timeout and draw up a play like the beauty we had right before that.

The minute that happens someone needs to call timeout.

Which is literally exactly what happened at the end of regulation.

They were in the same situation again, but this time Tyreke decides to step back for a 3. This board freaks out and blindly blames the coach for everything though

Evans is a career loser for a reason. He can put up good stats but will never be able to play winning basketball.

3rd option who thinks he's a #1 option. His negatives will always outweigh his positives. There's absolutely no reason for a poor 3 point shooter to ever take that shot with the game on the line.

Call a timeout? No let's let reke a below average 3 pt shooter try to hit stepback. Great chance of that going in

Yep. And I'm ambivalent about Monty at this point. And, really, Tyreke had a decent look. Not saying he should have taken it, but it wasn't a horrible shot.

Thats right in hindsight. But asking for a TO call, mid stepback 3, is kind of tough

Btw, all this Monty/Tyreke discussion is taking attention away from Austin Rivers, who's playing some of the worst NBA basketball i've ever seen

Left Ginobili WIDE OPEN under the rim for essentially the game winner. Then, as usual, looks around to blame a teammate. Everybody he guarded absolutely torched him. Which has been a theme all season.

We have two rotation-caliber guards on the entire roster.
