NEWS FLASH, I know. But seriously take his individual stats out of the equation
Every time this team plays without Tyreke, we are motivated, we hustle, we do smart things and we either win or lose close to a quality team.
Every time this team plays with Tyreke, we lack hustle, we look confused, we don't seem motivated and we have a quarter/half/game where we get embarrassed by a team far less talented.

Trade him for whatever we can get. This isn't fixing itself

It's a product of selfishness. He doesn't move the ball, so everyone else hardly gives a shite about getting open. Furthermorw, in the event that he does pass it, the other guys feel the need to take the shot because they may not get it back.

In an offense predicated on spacing and ball movement, he is an offensive hindrance.

Neither is the answer to this team

Reke can be a decent 6th man and Ish decent coming off the bench as well

Ish isn't on this team! And Tyreke is the answer, if we want Ben Simmons!

Well according to tRant tonight Simmons sucks and the only reason he is playing here is because he doesn't have a jumper and if he did then he would have went to UNC or UK

Tried that and he refused to buy into the role.

When jrue went down last year and Reke was the starting PG, we were really good. Pretty sure during that time only CP3 had more assists and double doubles than him.

I already posted the injury list. Last year Reke was the healthy one, everyone else was hurt. This year Reke is the hurt one and the majority of the core players have been healthy.

I'm not saying he's the reason, but it's rather peculiar.

It's so frustrating to watch Tyreke this season because he was electric for a lot of last year.

Sure he made a shitload of dumb plays, but he took over plenty of games and grinded out a win for us when most of the team looked like shite.

If he played the same way he did last season (drives and dishes only) we'd have won at least 4 or 5 more games to this point. Sucks to watch, because we know he has the ability to be a double-double every night kind of guy who flirts with a triple double at least 1/4 games.

So in the 7 mins Evans played in the 3rd when we were down by 8 he scored 7 points and created another 6 points and regained he lead and lead by 3. I swear this board just makes shite up.

No one denies he can't get his stats.

He also is the lead guard in one of the worst starting units in the league. We consistently are looking to the bench to bail us out almost every game. He left the court with us down by 10 or something. In spite of Davis going crazy.

The one area Tyreke has really improved is as a spot up shooter. But the problem is it still is a crap shoot about what Evans you are gonna get from possession to possession. Is he gonna play into the team concept and move the ball or just dribble out the clock and take a low percentage shot or make a last second pass while everyone is just standing around and watching?

That isn't conducive to high level winning basketball when the rest of the team is trying to play a different way. I really hope Gentry does it right with Gordon out and puts Jrue in the starting lineup and gives him primary facilitation duties. To see what we actually have with Evans and Jrue.

He came out when we were up by 3 did you even read the post? He also was a lead guard to a playoff team last year. Jrue was a lead guard to a 1-11 team.

I'm sorry, did we only play the third quarter last night and skip the first two quarters?

Evans left the first quarter down by 12. He came back in the second down by 7. Finished the half down by 9. At best he helped make up for the hole he played a part in digging in spite of AD going nuts in the first and making most of our points.

You know a person's objectivity needs questioning when they think Evans performance last night was good.

This.

It is quite obvious that Reke is playing hurt and that knee just isn't 100% healed. You can see it with his lack of explosion and how hesitant he is to drive at times.

So it's Tyreke fault and not the other 3 guys?

Sure, others play a part, but when you are the quarterback on offense and your combined effort is 13 points on 11 shots and 5 assists, 4 turnovers, and the offense was stagnant almost all night with you, you failed at your job.

He's trying to change, I appreciate that. There are glimmers that a Jrue/Evans lineup may have some promise long term. And he was injured last night. Still doesn't make it a good performance though.

the TO were ugly but 13 point on 11 shots is pretty decent. I agree though that Jrue and Reke make each other better it limits Reke's dumb possessions and causes Jrue to be more aggressive.
