Ideal and somewhat realistic would be Pekovic, Burke, JJ Reddick, and Martel Webster or Dorrel Wright, with Lopez, Vasquez, and Gordon being expendable.

This was posted in another thread but the idea is to build a pick and roll offense around Burke and Davis with outlets such as Reddick and Wrighy for 3 and Pekovic in the post.

If Vasquez/Gordon go, they need another guy to step up as a creator (Roberts/Rivers?), but being able to roll out a lineup like this at times:

Burke
Reddick
Webster
Anderson
Davis

would be a hell of a lot of fun to watch .

Haven't seen too many people talking about Korver, but he could be a fit on the wing if they miss on Reddick/Webster

No.

Sign Jason Smith and Martell Webster and call it an offseason.

Unless you want to add a PG like Mayo, Collison or someone like that.

I think we need a little more than just signing Webster & Smitty to have a good offseason.

We need to think of getting more than one scorer on the wings to come in and provide a feasible 2nd unit that won't bomb when we pull the starters.

I love the Webster signing, but I think we'll need something more than just that.

Is Miller going to pan out? Do we perhaps take a shot on a Nate Rob/Jr Smith type? Does Rivers fit that roll? If we draft Burke, do we keep Rivers or Vasquez?

In short, I think there is way more than simply resigning a key cog and bringing in 1 questionable FA and calling it an offseason.

No team w Evans as a focal point will be successful IMO

He needs to be a 3rd option on a team. Gordon >> Evans

At least he isn't a pussy and has a personality

I'd take him at the 2 spot and ditch the loser we have now

Evans just had his worst season as a pro (one that was also really starting to turn a corner at the end of the year) and still had a better statistical season in
basically every category than Gordon.

Evans Worst season? This was arguably his best season yet. He's a good player with no real position.

Gordon is a better fit for this team because he stretches the floor.

Lowest points, rebounds, and assist numbers of his career.

His low point total isn't a bad thing. He's not a good shooter so shooting less w better shot selection benefitted him (see FG%). Rebounds were right at his career average and assists were down because he zero PG this season. So his assist numbers are above average for a SG/SF.

Right. One is a career 36% from 3 and one is a career 28% from 3
