Trashed, but here goes nothing...

3 options for me:

1. I would like the Hornets to try and keep Gordon. If I remember tv interviews with Monty and Dell, they have always indicated that Eric enjoys NOLA, the direction the Hornets are headed, and playing with his teammates. So, unless Dell and Monty have heard otherwise from EG10 in the past week, I call bull-mularky on his "I strongly feel they are the right franchise for me. Phoenix is just where my heart is now" statement. This is just a way for him to get the contract that he feels he deserves from the Hornets. But, I guess we will find out on the 11th when the Hornets match the contract. If he wants to sign the one year tender instead, then we know that he does not want to be here and we need to get something for him fast to help the franchise out.

2. Sign and trade to Phoenix for Marcin Gortat, Robin Lopez, and Jared Dudley (maybe a 1st round pick if you can, but that may be asking for too much). I don’t know.

3. My personal favorite is to be the third team that helps Dwight Howard get to Brooklyn. Orlando gets Kris Humphries, MarShon Brooks, and the first-round draft picks in 2013, 2015 and 2017 from the Nets along with Eric Gordon and a 2 player combo of Aminu, Vasquez, or Henry from the Hornets. If needed, our first round pick in 2013. Nets Get Howard. Hornets get Lopez, Reddick, and Hedo. Amnesty Hedo after the season, if he doesn’t want to be bought out, for cheaper, before then.
