Belinelli, QPon and Marcus Banks for Aaron Afflalo and Al Harrington.

What would y'all think ? Harrington makes nearly 6 a year but has 5 years left on his contract. if people want Antawn Jamison well he's basically a cheaper version of Jamison. He is However a really good shooter. Making 90 three pointers on the year at nearly 39 percent.

Afflalo is a terrific shooter at nearly 45 percent from 3. He's also a terrific person who has great character. He hustles and MOST IMPORTANTLY plays great D. Having him Paul and Ariza as our perimeter defenders and you might have the best perimeter Defense in the NBA.

Sorry, I should have stated if they do end up trading Anthony. Thus way they can shed contracts in Harrington.

Too bad Melo doesn't want to come to NOLA.

Cool. Considering he's not even mentioned in the trade.

That's the only problem, but the guy has been consistent through the years, and with CP feeding him the ball, he can't get any worse.

It is a lot of years. But it's basically a back up plan to West. West is obviously the better player. But Harrington would be a solid back up/ emergency starter in place of West IMO.

Also, Harrington is 30 years old and has 4 years left after this year. So he'd be 34 in his final year. I think that's how old Jamison is.

I don't know, his minutes are down along with his shooting percentage and he's never been an outstanding rebounder.

I don't think Denver would do it, Affalo is really valued. He's a great player.

He is a really good player and really liked in Denver. But he's an expiring contract. Nene is putting out signals that he wants out, either now or he's gone after his contract runs out after next season. Chauncey Billups only has one more year left on his deal as well and JR Smiths contract is expiring this year.

I think you're about to see a complete over haul of that team. Will he be willing to resign and be part of the rebuilding process ?

But trading him, getting rid of a bad contract and getting expirings plus a prospect is not a bad deal at all. Especially if they do end up trading Melo.

If it all worked out, we'd have one of the best benches in the league.

Harrington would be coming off the bench, nothing more. Him and MT5 would be asked to carry the bench in scoring and provide sparks when the offense struggles. With him you insure your two star players with Jack backing up Paul and then Harrington backing up West.

CP3/Jack
Afflalo/Green/MT5
Ariza/Afflalo/Green
West/Harrington/Smith
Okafor/Gray/Anderson

To me that's a very solid team. And defensively, the starting 5 is very very strong.

I would be cool with it. Also couldn't we get Harrington on the floor at SF.

Nene wants to go to a big market. I've been lurking many Nugget message boards lately and that seems to be the consensus with him. He wants out of Denver. Don't think NOLA is the landing spot he has in mind.

Harrington would provide us with extreme versatility.

For instance when the Lakers go with a lineup of Fisher, Kobe, Lamar, Pau, and Bynum we could match with Paul, Afflalo/Ariza, Harrington, West, Okafor.

OR

Against the Thunder when they have a lineup of Westbrook, Harden, Durant, Green, Ibaka we can counter with Paul, MT5/Afflalo, Ariza, Harrington, West.

Harringtons ability to stretch the floor would be a tremendous asset to matching up with some of the different we could see in the playoffs.
