I love the specifics of this trade...I think it is a win/win for both parties.

I can see 2 trades with Denver that they might be interested in.

Tyreke + Diallo for Faried

Jrue (if they think he'll resign) for Faried + sweetener (1st and/or Barton?)

I would love Faried.
I think he would go great with AD. And he looked great with him in the Olympics.

I know this is crazy for a guy that barely has played, but I would hate to lose Diallo in anything but a huge huge trade for us.

I would prefer to hang on to him and see what we have there.

I completely agree. I didn't say they were moves I'd make, just moves I could see Denver liking enough to pull the trigger. I think Diallo will end up being a player like Faried only he'll be cheaper longer. Diallo for Faried would be a complete Win Now move that maybe you make if you're the last year of Monty Pels and in theory have your Finishing Five set and just need to add more NBA quality rotation players. The current Pels only have 3 of it's Finishing Five "set". Buddy still has a way to go to really earn being in that spot, and Holiday may not even be here next year.

Denver is stockpiled with young guards. The last thing they want to do is taken on Jrue or Reke and hamper the development of Mudy and Gary.

I know he's only 20, but he's been really, really bad. The new CBA has devalued the asset stash they've already amassed, the last time they went to the playoffs George Karl was still a decent coach, and they are already in year 2 of Mike Malone. How long are they going to stay in asset collection mode and waiting to be good?
