No I'm not. This is from a week ago, and we're working off an admittedly small sample size, but BDJ has filled Gordon's shoes fairly well so far.

Per 36 comparison, BDJ on left, EG on right

I am not gonna lose sleep if BDJ doesn't add to the mediocrity of this team

Who's losing sleep over this? People are hoping to hear that we locked a productive UDFA into a team friendly near minimum deal that will help soften the blow of losing Gordon because it will be difficult to both replace him and address other more pressing needs.

Agreed plus he kid is a rookie, he is only 23 so there is very good chance he could improve.

He is also 6'5" I like the way he will go get rebounds and he seems to be a good defender.

he is very coachable and obviously is a hard worker and he really wants to play. I like him a lot

Gordon's games seem to follow a familiar script. From tipoff, it seems like they have some set plays that look for Gordon. He often starts out hot and gets most of his points in the first 5 minutes of the game. Then he disappears. Sometimes he reappears in small spurts. But he is rarely the guy who wins the game for us. Jrue, Reke, Ryno...these are all guys that occasionally put up big numbers and can be key components when AD isn't the one winning the game for us. EG....not so much. I'd take BDJ at a million pr two over EG and not at all feel like the team lost anything.
