The Pelicans roster

Watching this team play it's so easy to see potential in our roster but i feel like I've been saying that for years now and nothing has happened

The team changed directions at a time when they weren't good enough to attract starting caliber FAs. That means they are going to have to develop players before they get good enough that the Batums and Parsons of Free Agency will take your calls on July 1st.

It is. The team should have fired Demps when they fired Monty. That was just such a huge mistake. Hire JVG and you get a firm roster makeover and this year you would have a team that at least fits the coach. Instead we get a coach that was brought in allegedly because he was a good fit for the roster on hand, but then he wasn't so you change things again and the roster still can't do what he needs it to do.

The thing is I think this roster will be ok when you add Jrue and maybe this offseason add one more legit scorer. Probably need a new front office and coach to go along with that as well
