Why is our offense this horrendous if Gentry is such an offensive "genius." I give him some slack for the past injuries and recent trade and lack of shooters as a result, but a good coach can utilize the talent given and at least tread water. This team looks like a shipwreck offensively. No excuse for a team with AD, Demarcus Cousins and Jrue Holiday to only score 78 points in a game.

If there was ever a question as to why Gentry should be fired (and at this point I don't why there would be), this game tonight is your answer. Our tank teams under Monty could score better than this team.

I apologize for ever being one of the biggest Gentry fans.

It reminds me of the Suns from a few years ago

The offense is straight garbage. There is too much AD and Cousins going one on one from almost the 3pt line. I would rather them play more baseline off the ball then hang out on the weakside up at the wing.

How does the team shoot 35.7% from the field? Personnel?

Don't you dare make that assumption.

The night is shite enough as is.

Obviously, having AD and Boogie this far from the basket is an abject disaster. Spacing on pick and rolls is miserable. There is no movement on the weak side either. On top of this, I feel this team needs a culture change. We need a new direction and a leader that can run a professional team and put his players in the best sopots to succeed.

Yes. Utah has the bigs to slow down AD/DC which shifts the matchup to the guards/wing and well...

Did we gel before the trade? What about last season, too?

Hmm...I'll hang up and listen.

I don't like when the play is running away from Cousins or AD for them to be out at the 3pt line at the wing. Asik doesn't go fricking out there. So why don't we have them play on the baseline or at the elbow off ball so they can get passes for easy buckets in the paint. The passes that Asik constantly dropped. Cousins has constantly gotten the ball at the 3pt line and it is stupid. He has a good shot, but it would be better to have him getting buckets inside.

748 open 3P looks, 6th most in the league for the year. 33.8% on the year. Only 6 teams shooting worse on such shots

Tell gentry to stop creating open 3s for these guys

What's even better is that most shots to go halfway down then bounce out. It happens so much.

Its literally worse to watch than STD warning videos.

Right.

It's just crazy that this roster of offensive talent can't go into Utah, who has been one of the best defenses in the league the last few years, on the 2nd night of a back to back and run them out of the gym.

Do you really believe in Gentry as a coach or are you just being the voice that puts blame on the players to? If you believe in Uncle Al, why, out of curiosity?

Imagine what Jeff Van Gundy would be doing with this team...we have a better version of Ewing/Oakley
