That's not true. Both Henderson and Hayward are considered good players, neither are considered elite and that's because the lack the other things Gordon brings to the table. Neither are as capable as a primary ball handler and neither contributes as much on the defensive end as Gordon. Now i'm not a Gordon fan per say (heart in Phoenix statements) but to sit here and undermine his talents is childish. He is a great two-way player and if healthy, with little improvement can be a true superstar. The ONLY thing that stops people from calling Gordon a star is his injury history. When on the court he is a game changer and to wish Gordon, who is clearly the Hornets best player and collects a hefty check, would stay injured is to cast bad wishes on the Hornets.
