First, I'm skeptical as to your motives or purpose. So far, your thread reeks of flaming or trolling.

The attendance issue has been discussed ad nauseam from every conceivable angle. I suggest that no reliable conclusions can be drawn regarding attendance under new ownership, overhauled roster and re-branding until a full season or two has passed.

But if you're truly interested, there is this lawyer, amateur historian and obsessive-compulsive in Oklahoma City named Doug who can help you create some really cool charts and graphs to compare attendance for New Orleans and the rest of the league. It's a little fricking weird, however.

I think it was respectful at first then turned to trolling when he realized the opportunity existed. Maybe if the first post wasn't so vitriolic that wouldn't have happened.

it will pick up. Honestly didnt expect big crowds either of these 2 nights. Halloween & a big sports weekend in LA. 2 teams without star power.

I'd like to know why people are following atrendance.

Just to complain about something. If attendance picks up and we're winning, son will complain that the nachos are too soggy. We fix the soggy nachos, "yea but did you see that horrible sports coat and jeans ensemble Monty had on. We get Monty a stylist, "I heard our seats are the hardest in the league, might we be doing harm to our players lower extremities by not allowing proper blood flow?"

Always need something to complain about.

A. It doesn't matter. The team isn't going anywhere no matter if we have 10k people show up.

B. Do you expect 19k fans in a stadium that seats 17k? :hihi:

Attendance has been just fine.

But that's the response this question deserves. You certainly don't want long term attendance issues, but the Hornets are no longer on probation when it comes to attendance. The new revenue sharing and salary cap changes set things up so as long as you aren't in a constant state of rebuilding you should attract enough fans to be profitable.

Tickets are expensive, they must realize their major market is ages 13 to 28ish of the fans who actually care if they get better... Yes their are older folks who enjoy the Hornets but not enough passion in ages 30 and older. Therefore games are not loud because its corporate Bob and wife Sally sitting next to the court

Can we look forward to more trolling from you? If so, will you promise to maintain it in this one thread?

If you agree, I'll find a link to the Doug Loadonback chart that he maintained for OKC. I'm sure you'll find it to be a useful tool.

You're not looking for a respectful discussion. You are looking to stir crap. Move on.
