I still like Tyreke. He may not fit in this system. Idk. But I think he'll be here next year and he consistently puts up solid number. His shooting improvements last season (small sample) were encouraging. He has played a lot of great games for us, and in the right role, he can help us win imo

The * in those shooting numbers are two fold:

1.) He was putting up those numbers with teams still game planning to sag off him. Daring him to take those shots.

2.) He did something similar the prior season. Coming out strong percentage wise but then cooled off. Teams adjusted temporarily and closed out and the numbers fell. He also began just missing again. Taking his typical bad shots and dragging his jump shot efficiency down.

It was encouraging but I still think the right role is as a 6th man that doesnt finish games unless he is absolutely killing it that night. Which I don't think he will ever agree to and that is problematic.

At this point, Evans is considered a bargain imo. I don't see the need to move him unless he cannot coexist with the players on the team.

I'm sure we can carve out a role for him that works for everyone. I think his role is suited for the 6th man role.

Either way we won't get good value for him because of his knee. So I rather give him 2 months and see how he plays. If he's shity with a bad attitude I'm sure we can still trade him for the same second and expiring that we can get this summer.

That role works for the team, but not for Tyreke and his brother.
