Well he won't be able to choose where he goes first. Lakers have 2 good players in Russell and randle to build on but they are in worse shape than us.

8 seed gets you GSW. Does another 1rd playoff loss accomplishing Something?? Too may injuries this year to win enough to have a winnable matchup in Rd one. May sneak in. But at 7 or 8 seed matchup will be v 60 win teams w home court. Next off season is key.

No shot at simmons. Could never lose enough. Once healthy will challenge playooffs. If. They fall short would have maybe 2% chance at top pick Beal is nice. But many teams will be In pursuit. Being a small market team will likely have to build though mid range players.

1) We have a better shot at Simmons than beal, I was just throwing that out as a dream scenerio
2) rebuilding with average players is why we are 0-6
3) we have a 2% chance at making the playoffs, we will finish last in our division and still have GS, OKC, Utah, blazers, Spurs and clippers to beat out.

Much better than 2% at making the playoffs. The west is top heavy. The bottom couple seeds aRe up for grabs. But when you face GSW/other 60 win team is making the playoffs and losing and picking outside the lottery better than being a Lottary team? Pels current mgmt has show no ability to hit on draft picks.

I think 7/8 seeds, maybe even the 6, will be in the 45-40 range. Memphis is healthy and in a bad place, and I don't trust any of the other teams (PDX, DAL, UTAH, PHX) to rise up to a 50 win caliber.
Pels will be in a hole, but after the top 5, I don't believe the West is as daunting this year.

It will be harder to make it in the west this year than last year and like previously said in the thread, do you really want the 8 seed to get sweep by GS?
