I am currently deployed so I don't get to watch any games. I try to follow the game threads and read VOR's updates to figure out what is going on. Not being there it is hard to figure out what the hell is up with this team. TIA

-32-21
-Currently 5th in the West
-Paul is still good, leads the league in PER I believe.
Okafor and Ariza are hurt right now, for at least a couple of weeks I believe, so we may have a bit of a rough patch considering our bench is pretty weak.

I found this site a few weeks ago that offered great pregame and postgame analysis of each hornets game. If you can't see the games, these guys seem to watch every game and give in-depth reviews of them along with the player matchups.

They had a great article summarizing a recent Q&A session they had with the GM Dell Demps the weekend of the Spurs home game in January. That is what initially drew me to their site.

We've been very streaky all year...
We won our first 8 (last undefeated team)
11-1 over our first 12

We won 10 games in a row in January, but we have had a lot of loss streaks too.

Currently 32-21
5th in the West
3rd in Southwest

Right now Ariza and Okafor are out and we've lost 5 of our last 6.

We have a weak bench but a pretty good starting lineup when they are all healthy.

what the hell is up with this team

Currently injuries to 2 starters are the problem but to be honest I think we were destined for another skid after the last streak regardless. This is not a very talented team but they are a well built team that can succeed with high levels of effort and execution. It's hard to get 12 guys to consistently bring their A games, but when they do they can go toe to toe with anyone in the league. Home court helps a lot with the focus and effort so the team can't fall off too far. They need home court in the first round at the least.
