If we win out, we are in the playoffs. I know it's not likely, but if we do, there is nothing OKC can do about it. A week ago, I would have never thought we'd be here.

Playoffs came early. Win or go home!

The just need to exceed OKC's win total. This requires winning out if and only if OKC does.

It is not a dream scenario, but it is far better than needing to win out.

The Pelicans have the tie breaker over OKC. We just need to match OKC's win total and we are in.

Thanks for agreeing.

We have one fewer win, so we need to match their wins plus one in the remaining games. The discussion was about winning out, so the scope was unplayed games, not all games.

If we make the playoffs as an 8 seed, I don't know how confident I am with them in a series against the Warriors.

Making the playoffs and picking up experiance is better than no playoffs

We likely lose in 5, but who gives a shite? This team needs the playoffs to head into next season with some momentum.

The odds of keeping the pick are very, v6ery low either way.

ETA - Missing the playoffs gives us a 1.8% chance of keeping the pick. I don't think we have any chance of dropping below 20.

if they miss the playoffs they'll pick 14 no matter what, and pick will go to Houston

still need some east teams to lose and obviously for the pels to win at least five more

Wow, you're not sure how confident you are in an 8 seed full of unproven playoff players against arguably the most dominant regular season squad since some of Jordans' Bulls teams?

Good to know.
