I'd much rather fans just don't applaud or remain quiet when they introduce Gordon rather than boo. Then later in the season as he proves he deserves applause from the fans, he'll hear it during later intros. The fact of the matter is, during the game at critical times, people are going to cheer big baskets and nice plays. Trust me, you wanna get his attention, let it be 3AM quiet in the arena during introductions during the 1st home game. He'll notice when the applause return in subsequent games. He'll notice it big time.

Anthony Davis will definitely get the biggest roar from the crowd.

I'll just be cheering like I do other players on our team. It's all in the past.

And what in the shite will this accomplish?

"Damn, that wasn't even a pretty good applause. I guess I'll play super duper hard so the fat yat from Chalmette in the fifth row will put down his nachos and Bud Lite platinum and give me a woo."

I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen.

He'll be with us for at least 2.5 years. So you better get over it and just cheer for him.

Agreed.

Cheer like hell. Make him glad that NOLA matched and make him feel welcomed. He'll probably play harder if he is appreciated by the fans
