should we have tried to get Mareese Speights?

Looking at his contract with Golden State, I think we should have tried to sign him. He would have been a good post presence on the blocks and could have played both frontcourt positions. Now I'm. Wishing we. Could trade for Ian Mahini somehow. What do yall think?

This team definitely needs one more big, but we don't really have the money anymore. A guy like Speights could have been useful for the right price.

Hell no.

You already have a jump-shooting, pick and pop big man in Smith. Plus Speights is God awful defensively.

Phil could be the Head Coach with Doc, Pop, and Tom T as his assistants and Maurice Speights would still not be a hell of a starter.

Gotta love the offseason, players get overvalued to an extreme. I know we're desperate for a center and strapped for cash but damn, the Maurice Speights and Brandan Wrights of the leagues aren't going to all of a sudden turn into All Stars.
