Ryno did fit.

No he did not, Ryno was the ultimate ball stopper and a horrible defender. He's nice guy and I will miss him as a person, but I won't miss him backing down for 5 seconds while everyone else looks at him then take a one foot fade away.

And LOL bringing up Eric Gordon like he ever played if Buddy can just stay on the court he will already be an improvement over Gordon.

I have no problems with the signings we made as it shows a plan for a change getting players that fit your system instead of getting players and hope the work together.

The biggest issue they had to address this off season was defense and they did that by the players they signed and let walk.

On a team predicated on ball movement and defense - nope, he didn't fit. The ball stops at Anderson, because he's shooting, and he can't defend and is a mediocre rebounder

He could do well in HOU but they have a lot of stuff to figure out as well. I like Anderson but I'm glad it isn't is paying him $20 mil

Eta: I will say, at full strength, which we never were, Anderson would've been a better player here

Good luck Ryno. He was one of my favorite pels. Can't believe we couldn't get anything for him. Kind of funny all the Ryno for Asik trades brought up a few years back.

I'm sorry to lose out on him, as an asset. But happy we have moved on. Even better, Houston just swapped out Howard for Anderson, which has to be a step back for them. Davis should destroy them in the paint now. Maybe all the Houston Asik lovers can talk Morey into giving us a first to get him back..

dude was good when he knew his role. Once he started to back people down and take 1 footed fadeaways from 22ft then he started to lose the identity that earned him playing time.

I wonder if that back injury caused him to change ways?

I'm still mad at Wallace for Ryno injury, dude really earned his nickname Crash. Ryno before that injury was way better then what he is now.

how big of a role did the system change from Monty to Alvin affect Ryno's contribution to the team?

ETA: though I don't discount the neck injury's role in that either

All we have to do is sign Jason Smith and let him guard Ryno. He absolutely destroyed him each time they played after Smoove left.
