Well frick...

I guess it opens us up to taking a 4 in exchange for Gordon if we want to compete this season, as Ryno will be hobbled for the rest of the season at best, if not getting season-ending surgery to fix the disc.

@ScottDKushner: I've been told, by those who have gone through it, a herniated disc can hold out players from 1-3 months depending on severity. #Pelicans

According to Jen Hale it's too early to tell if he'll need surgery

I really hope this doesn't turn this board into another tanking circle jerk.

Now is Monty's time to put up or shut up. Will we actually see change and adaptation, or more of the same. This team doesn't take many 3s without Ryno and that has to change. The team has capable 3 point shooters and drivers, Monty just needs to find a way to use them without Anderson.

Anyone know the long term prognosis on something like this?

I said it a while back, if monty can't adjust without anderson, we need to kick his arse to the curb sooner rather than later.

So this injury doesn't buy CMW an extra year if Anderson misses 1-2 months and the team finishes with 36-40ish wins?

ETA:
even though most predicted 40 wins +/- 2 going into the season?

Our offense is pretty sad with or without Ryno. It was acceptable when we were a team built on defense, but that sadly no longer holds true. We are a team with no identity.
