That's pretty surprising but I guess that explains Finch

Makes sense and I alluded to it in the other thread. I think there is a rule with the number of coaches you can have on staff. I'm not 100% positive though.

I like Pack a lot, but based on what I've read about Finch the last couple days, it sounds like we upgraded.

I wonder if they would rehire Pack to coach our G-League team, when we get one. I'd like that move.

I defy you to find an article about an assistant that isn't 100% glowing praise. When Pack lands somewhere, their fan base will look for articles and find nothing but good ones about Pack and get excited

Every assistant is the greatest and smartest guy ever according to press, and somehow 90% of head coaches are baffoon's. It really is quite astonishing.

Seemed like Pack was fairly well liked in the Locker Room. I think that's why it is more surprising. Thought he did a good job helping develop our point guards.

That's why I think you should look toward results.

Which is why I am excited about Finch. The same way I was excited about Erman. They have proven themselves by delivering results. And when or if you do play the credentialism game, they both rise toward the top.

But more importantly, their core coaching skills seem to fit our core needs.
