I HIGHLY doubt that he would have purchased the Hornets if it meant his family losing the Saints. He may be irritated with Rita's actions right now, but not so much that he's just going to leave the Saints up in the air like that. No, I'm assuming he wants her to take as much ownership as possible to avoid taxes, and that there is some deal worked out with the family .
