Jonas V would be a great fit at C next to Davis.

Not Pels related and won't happen either. I have requested for this thread to be removed and your subsequent ban from this site for utter stupidity

Agree. What would it take to get him?

so what do the Raptors want, cap space for next summer?
We can give them cap space if that's what they want.

I like him a lot but he completely disappears for like 10 minute stretches at a time. Maybe it's because of Lowry and DeRozan (whom I both hate. They are the worst two "stars" in basketball).

Can't blame them for wanting to blow it up. It could be the coaching, but their pieces just don't fit well together.

the raptors were the biggest fraud in the league last year...none of their "stars" stepped up when it mattered, especially lowry. gonna be a shitstorm up there when they blow it up but most observers feel like its coming

Why would we do this? I could be wrong, but I feel like they're pretty similar players, give or take a few strengths/weaknesses from each of them.

Derozan has a higher ceiling and is more of a SG/SF whereas Reke will never be an all-star and has hit his ceiling

Derozan has a much better jumper, and has more consistent range.

Absolutely non sense, and you are just mad. Get the frustration out, I bet its because I have a Confederate Flag as my Avatar.

So now we're going to have fricking confederate flag avatars on an NBA board?

I'll give Derozan that he is more fit for the 3, one of our bigger needs at the moment, but shooting?

Last season DD shot- FG%: .413, 3pt%:.284
Last season TE shot- FG%: .447, 3pt%:.304

Career DD shoots- FG%: .442, 3pt%:.270
Career TE shoots- FG%: .447, 3pt%:.278

I know there's more to shooting numbers than FG% and 3pt%, but to say Derozan has a better jumper and more consistent range just simply isn't true. Maybe he has a better overall jumper, but if Tyreke is converting more successfully at the rim than Derozan is with his jumper, then it's a moot point. I just think Derozan gets a little overrated on this board when his name comes up as a possibility. I feel like a lot of times when I watch Derozan on the offensive end, he can be just as much as a black hole, and as inefficient as Tyreke can be at times.
